Bay Area Pregnancy Services offers free pregnancy testing and counseling. Trained counselors provide support, education about fetal development and the truth about abortion, as well as information on alternatives to abortion. Sonia is working with the Door of Hope Counseling Center. The center works with individuals needing Christian counseling, as well as helping churches know how to help people in pain. Sonia is a registered nurse and a trained counselor who helps the center in providing discipleship, evangelism and counseling. Sonia also helps present workshops for area churches. Arnel, her husband, and Sonia have started a new ministry to abused and battered women and children. They have founded Esperanza Home Ministries Inc., a shelter for these women that also offers vocational training. This is continually growing and the hope is that these women will be able to support themselves and their children, and come to know Christ as Savior.

Fran and Lori and their children have answered God's call to serve their next term in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa. Fran, a pilot, began serving as Manager of MAF Flight Operations for the middle and southern regions of Africa. He oversaw the various flights, which provide needs of missionaries, medical evacuations, food supplies, livestock, school supplies, missionaries, bringing the JESUS film to remote and isolated areas, even a bulldozer piece by piece. Currently, he is not flying as much because he is now the Africa Regional Director of MAF. Lori performs the accountant/bookkeeping duties for the area, in addition to running their household and raising children in a Third World country. Fran and Lori are both Michigan natives and have relatives in Menominee.

Bernt and Erin are living in Minneapolis, MN, and working with STEM International (Short Term Evangelical Missions). STEM's mission is to extend God's glory through strategic partnerships in short-term mission outreaches, training & publications. Bernt is the Art Director working on a wide variety of projects, including Mission Maker Magazine. He also keeps busy troubleshooting office computers. Until recently, Erin worked in the STEM office as a receptionist/bookkeeper. However, since the birth of their son Brevin in July, Erin has become a stay at home mom. Who we Are: The Marinette-Menominee Jail Outreach is an incorporated, non-denominational Christian outreach consisting of approximately 30 volunteers who attend eight local area churches, and come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. A board of directors elected in accordance with a Biblically based constitution and by-laws governs us. Our membership includes men and women from all walks of life. Our purpose is to help inmates be delivered from the penalty of and bondage to sin.

Lake Ellen Camp is a camping ministry of the Great Lakes Baptist Conference where many of Faith Baptist adults and young people attend each year. They provide summer camps as well as weekend retreats during the year. The goal of the camp and director is to bring kids to Christ through the love they experience from the full-time and summer staff, and through the clear message of the gospel presented daily in a fresh way.
